Good morning, Grade 4s!

Math

Here are the answers for June 8th to 12th.

June 8th to 12th – answers

I am also including a few math puzzles.

Math Puzzle – 24

Instructions:  You need to use all four numbers to come up with an answer of 24.  You can add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

  • you don’t have to use each math function, but you can
  • you might just use addition and multiplication, or you might use addition and subtraction
  • there can be more than one way to it

The first card shows 2, 2, 4, and 6.

  • multiply 2 x 2 = 4
  • then take that 4 + 4 = 8
  • then take 8 x 6 = 48
    • Darn!! This didn’t work so you will need to try a different combination of adding, subtracting, multiplying, or dividing.

We will have another Zoom meeting this Thursday.  I will be emailing the ID number later today (the password will be the same).  I know that I mentioned that we will try pictionary, but I think that there will be too many issues with the computers.  So instead we are going to play Boggle.  It is a game where you have find as many different words as possible from the the letter dice.  This is what the game looks like.  You will need a pen or pencil and paper.
